Ads That Publish What You Weigh

From a post on the ethics of real-time advertising, the folks at BlogLESS say bus stop seats that show the sitter’s weight in ads for health clubs (Fitness First in Rotterdam) are bad news. I agree. I mean, what if you’re soaking wet and wearing extra heavy shoes that day?!

Bus Stop Ads That Show What You Weigh

I never understood the shame of the real weight or of the real age which appears especially in women. Why to lie for something that most of the time is evident. And why the shame of the person when discovered with a lie is not bigger then that of saying her real weight or age?
