The winner of Silicon Alley Insider’s Fix Digg contest has been announced: Cornell MBA student Keith Cowing.

It’s a fun, stir-up-the-pot idea for a news publication to launch a contest like that. It would be a very smart idea for business themselves to launch contests like that — crowdsourced business strategy thinking. Some of Cowing’s ideas are obvious (sponsored posts), and others are interesting and perhaps less obvious (let the Digg community Digg, or not Digg, the ads).
