NBC’s Jeff Zucker: “I think… I think…. Um… Primetime Will Survive.”

While NBC has lately made some nice moves in the digital distribution space (see InternetNews), on NPR’s “Morning Edition” Jeff Zucker sounded at times reluctant and at other times unsure of the future of NBC’s business model.

MindComet, PayPerPost & Polluting the Blogosphere

I couldn’t agree more with Marshall at TechCrunch in his assessment of MindComet’s business of creating a marketplace for vendors to buy edit coverage from bloggers who don’t have integrity (at PayPerPost.com):  “Is this a bad joke designed to torpedo the blogosphere’s credibility in general? It doesn’t appear to be. If we’re all trying to negotiate a space between Hollywood and mainstream journalism, this is taking things way too far towards the most insipid parts of Hollywood.”  Here’s BusinessWeek’s Jon Fine on MindComet.  Oy vey.
